Goldkey Properties Makes Impact with CSR

Refurbishing the Somanya Yilo State School

Goldkey Properties continues to make a meaningful impact not only in the real estate sector but also in the communities it serves, fulfilling its corporate social responsibility (CSR) by contributing to the betterment of society.

One of Goldkey’s notable CSR initiatives took place in the Yilo Krobo district, where the Somanya Yilo State School, established in the 1930s, was in dire need of refurbishment. Despite its historical significance, the school has seen minimal development or renovations since its inauguration. Recognizing the need for improvement, the school reached out for assistance, and Goldkey Properties stepped in to help.

As part of its CSR efforts, the Goldkey team took on the project of refurbishing the school, ensuring that both the structure and facilities were upgraded to meet the needs of students and teachers alike. In addition to the refurbishment, Goldkey also provided the school with waste bins to promote cleanliness and sustainability within the school environment.

Thanks to this intervention, the Somanya Yilo State School now boasts a safer, more conducive learning environment. The community can take pride in the school, knowing that their children and teachers have a secure and welcoming space to engage in educational activities. This initiative exemplifies Goldkey’s dedication to giving back to the communities in which it operates, ensuring long-term positive impacts that extend beyond just real estate development.
